Changing Direction
The Bullytown web site has developed from a campaign to improve local government. We found that reporting specific concerns to local government achieves virtually nothing because professionals take elaborate precautions to protect themselves from the public. To counter this resistance, we began to catalogue the various strategies used by professionals to disable the public. Eventually we realized, [not so obvious at the time] that political correctness itself, is a disabling mechanism.

We will be extending our campaign for higher standards, to include resistance to political correctness at every level - see Changing Direction

It's up to the public
The public cannot trust politicians and officials to protect them from political correctness. After all, they are the ones that instigate political correctness in the first place. We must use our rights to protest, or we will lose our rights altogether. It's up to the public to show initiative and make their opinions known, particularly at the local level, where the ordinary citizen can be most effective. - see Local abuse with national consequences
